Insulated glass units are an essential part of modern construction which has many purposes: to protect the room from loss of heat, prevent the glass from overheating from the outside, provide noise insulation, and also become a form of protection against possible burglary.
We can deliver almost any type of glass units:
— Low emission glass units
— Solar control glass units
— Safety and security glass units
— Acoustic glass units
— Fire-resistant glass units
Tempered glass is often used in applications where using standard glass could pose a potential danger. Tempered glass is stronger than standard glass and does not shatter into large shards when broken. This is important, because it can greatly minimize potential danger in the case of a break. Manufactured through a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling, tempered glass is much harder than normal glass.
If you’re not sure whether or not your project or item should involve tempered or another kind of glass, feel free to contact us and we’ll walk you through some of the ins and outs regarding applicability, pricing, availability, etc.
Laminated glass consists of two, three or more layers of glass glued together with a foil layer at high temperature. The lamination gives the glazing unit its special properties.
— In the case of breakage, the pane remains glued to the film, minimising the risk of injury from broken glass
— Significantly higher acoustic insulation compared to monolithic glass of the same thickness
— Can be a temporary barrier during burglary attempts
— Laminated glass can provide protection from gunshots and the blast wave of an explosion
We can deliver:
— Laminated glass
— Tempered laminated glass
— Bulletproof laminated glass
— Colored laminated glass
— Laminated glass with low emission, anti solar and selective coatings
Printing on glass with ceramic inks allows a wide range of colours to be depicted using the CMYK colour model, creating a tempered print. The machine works like an inkjet printer: the images get to the printer, where the various designs on the glass are already reproduced.
Another type is stemalit glass, which is a more innovative way of applying a pattern to tempered glass by applying a continuous layer of ceramic paint in a variety of colours. This method is used mainly as a decorative element in facade and interior glazing.
New building regulations for fire protection require solutions to protect people and their property. These requirements are forcing architects to use more advanced fire protection systems to provide better protection against fire. This is why fire-resistant glass is used wherever solid, physical, fire-resistant partitions against fire, heat, flames and toxic gases have to be used.
Glass can be used in windows, doors, screens and a wide range of steel frames. Suitable for interior and exterior applications.
Fire-resistant glass products are suitable for wooden, steel and aluminium frames.
Due to its laminated construction, fire-resistant glass works even if the glass is deformed.
Our company is ready to offer you glass for furniture, doors and interiors. Our partners can produce any type of glass, from simple cut to bent, with designs of any complexity and colour range.
We offer deliveries of thin (1.0 to 2.1 mm) glass for the production of picture frames. The glass can be cut to size for you, packed in boxes and layered with paper.
If you need glass with polished edges - we can also offer this type of glass.
